The 45th IAA World Congress 2024 in Penang focuses on re-coding values.

Social issues such as inequality, diversity, climate change, and inclusion have gained significant attention, and customers now demand that companies incorporate more ethical and sustainable practices.

IAA Malaysia and the State of Penang will host the 45th IAA World Congress from March 6 to 8, 2024, highlighting sustainability, diversity, equity, inclusion, and ESG at the center of the discussion.

The IAAWC is the largest gathering of marketing and communication technology, encompassing marketing, media, creativity, communication, technology, and education. It takes place every two years in cities such as NY, London, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Beijing, Dubai, Moscow, etc.

This year’s Congress theme is Brand: RE-CODE, for a Better World, Better Life, and it coincides with the celebrations of the 85th anniversary of IAA Global, the 30th anniversary of IAA Malaysia, and International Women’s Day.

The convergence of social, economic, and climate crises, along with rapid technological advancements, has created new realities that companies must address as quickly as possible. Traditional brand models revealed vulnerabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing companies to adjust and completely rethink their business models. And new consumer behaviors continue to emerge.

The urgency of addressing climate change has become a central point to reduce environmental impact and ensure long-term resilience”

Technological advances, such as artificial intelligence, continue to disrupt sectors, generating opportunities and challenges. In this rapidly changing landscape, companies must RE-CODE their values and operational models to reflect this new reality while focusing on creating long-term value.

At the 45th IAA World Congress, we will share best practices, case studies, and NEW frameworks on how creativity, compassion, and technology can create meaningful brand value and enable brands to become a force for good.
